Rules & Regulation
Discipline is the law of nature. Without it, nothing works. Inculcating discipline amongst children is the most significant aspect of education and is not confined to school alone. Parents, too, must co-operate with the school in observing these rules and regulations:
- It is compulsory for all students to attend the assembly.
- Bunking from class, assembly or leaving the school premises during the school hours without the knowledge of the authority is strictly prohibited. Students are not allowed to sit in the canteen during class hours.
- Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence from school, habitual late coming, leaving the school premises without permission will not be allowed at any circumstances.
- Minimum attendance required for appearing monthly test is 75% per month. Minimum aggregate attendance for appearing Pre-Council examination is 75%. Students can attend the exam if he/she improves his/her attendance or if proper documents are submitted to the Principal by the parents.
- Every Student should come to school in neat and clean school uniform otherwise he/she shall not be allowed to attend classes and alteration of school uniform in any form is not allowed.
- All students are expected to greet their school teachers when they meet them whether they actually teach them or not.
- Fashionable jewellery, hairbands, clips and other ornamental items are not allowed. Student (s) must not carry anything other than those related to academic requirements.
- Smoking, chewing of pan (kwa), chewing of gum, talab, tobacco and consuming of any kind of intoxicants within the school premises, inside and outside the school premises in school uniform are strictly prohibited. Any student found using any of the prohibited items will expelled from the institution.
- Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in an orderly manner and silently.
- Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not allowed.
- Indiscipline, disrespect to any teacher or staff member by the student in any form shall not be tolerated.
- Students are expected to respect school property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the desk / walls irregular or in any way damage things belonging to others. Any school property damaged even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal.
- They should not spoil or pluck flowers.
- Students should not come to school on bikes, cars or any other personal vehicles except bicycles. A fine of ₹2,000/- will be imposed, if any student is found bringing personal vehicles.
- Students are not allowed to bring any kind of object that can cause injury to others.
- Bullying, use of abusive and foul language, rowdy or violent behaviour in any form are punishable offences.
- Students are advised to keep their class room, school building and campus as clean as possible and throw leftovers into the dustbins.
- Under no conditions a student is permitted to bring a mobile telephone/smart watches to the school. If confiscated, it will not be returned.
- Students indulging in any form of violent or destructive activities will face disciplinary action as decided by the school authorities.
- Students using unfair means during examination will face disciplinary action.
- A student found co-operating or indulging in any act of violence committed by other students which harms any student physically or mentally would also face disciplinary action including expulsion.
- The observance of rules of discipline of the school and good behaviour is an essential condition to a student’s continuation in the school. In case any student violates the school rules or indulges in any form of indiscipline, strict action like suspension or even expulsion shall be taken against the student.
- No attendance would be given to a student during the period of suspension.
- The students should not litter the school premises with wrappers, papers or polythene bags.
- There will be no refund of admission, tuition and Van/bus fees once the academic session is started. Student, who avail bus/Van service can not withdraw the bus/Van service during the academic session. Full amount for the whole academic session must be paid if the student wish to withdraw.
- If a student wishes to do any correction, including the subject combination can be changed on the counselling day itself. Students are not allowed to change the subject combination once the counselling process is completed.
** All the above rules and regulations may be changed from time to time. If there is any uncertainty, the Principal’s decision will be the final and binding.**
